The Founder
Florida, the visionary behind Binti wa Afrika Collection, was born in the Lake Victoria region of Tanzania to parents from Bukoba and Loliondo. Her formative years were spent in Central Tanzania, Tabora, and Northern Tanzania, Arusha. Frequent family travels through the breathtaking landscapes of Ngorongoro and Serengeti to visit her grandparents ignited her deep love for nature, wildlife, and African culture.
From a young age, Florida was captivated by the rich cultural heritage and the vibrant tourism of her homeland. She dreamt of one day creating a platform that would celebrate African culture and showcase its unique artistry to the world.
